一、形容词：与曾发生过的某事「相应」。ἀ.常算为τύπος的代表（参出25:40 ），但因τύπος可指「原本」或「副本」，故ἀ.的意义就含糊。故在彼前3:21 ὃ（即ὕδωρ）ὑμᾶς ἀ. νῦν σῴζει βάπτισμα 这水所表明的洗礼，现在…拯救你们，即把挪亚从洪水中拯救出来是一个τύπος，或「预表」，而洗礼与它相应，作为拯救的完成。

二、实名词：τὸ ἀ.「影像，副本，代表」。因此，χειροποίητα ἅγια, ἀ. τῶν ἀληθινῶν人手所造的圣所，这不过是真圣所的影像（副本），⊙ 来9:24 。*
